Anyone else play Torchlight? I thought it was a really awesome game, probably the best Diablo-clone game besides Diablo 2 obviously. Just sucked that it had no co-op.

So Torchlight 2 is coming out very soon and has co-op and looks really fun. Unlike Diablo 3 which is completely based around ripping off their players for real cash to make money on the RMAH, this is just a good old time with tons of cool and unique loot with interesting and fun stats. I played the beta and it was pretty sweet.

It also has a skill system more similar to Diablo 2, with skill trees etc. I like the Diablo 3 system but the skill trees are really fun too.

Items have cool stuff like increased pet/minion health, armor, damage, etc so pet classes can build to make their pets badass, all the usual attack speed / spell cast speed / increased spell element damage / resistances / increased skills / etc.

for the skill trees it's Diablo 2ish where you pump points into whatever spell/skill but in Diablo 2 it just increased the damage or usefullness and in Torchlight 2 putting points into it will actually change the spell into more powerful shit which is cool

anyways Steam has 4 packs for 60 bux so I'll probably buy one and see if anyone else wants to be a pal

I heard the game was pretty cool, but I plan on playing Guild Wars 2, which will hopefully be coming out in a few months.

You see there's no way a fetus could play and Fries is typically good at some games but not so much at other (like everyone else). The joke was that you were bad at all games, so much so that an unborn fetus could play better.
