As of 3:30pm on Jan. 05 2006; I am sworn into the United States Navy. This is a huge step for me and I have been thinking of this since that last post where people started yelling at each other; see http://www.poopinashoe.com/viewthread.php?threadid=3316

This is only to inform you folks; I don't want to start any more buisness.

I will be leaving for basic training on May 9th of this year. Afterwards I will go to school for a job in "Aviation Electronic, Electrical and Computer Systems Technicians".

I want Nefarian dead by then please; kthx. If you don't do it for me; do it for the lobster.

Congrats man! I had the same job when I enlisted ("Avionics Guidance and Control Systems Technician" is what they call it in the AF).

I'm really proud of you. What you are doing is probably one of the most unselfish acts a person can do in his life. I hope you enjoy it as many of my old Navy buddies do. If it's not for you don't let anyone try to push you around. You do what you signed up for!

Some tips:

1. ALWAYS make sure the paperwork on anything is EXACTLY correct.

2. If you even think there is someone around, start working or start looking like you are.

3. If you have a clean, pressed uniform with creases, a clean shave, and get to work 15 min early.....your officers and chiefs will want to have sex with you.

And GL in Boot Camp bro.....if the gas chamber is anything like it was for me.....you won't ever forget it. That and Battlestations if they still do that.
