GREETINGS EVERYONE, IT IS I, HELPFUL_BRO_001!

THIS IS THE THREAD FOR TIPS AND TRICKS FOR CATA_DUNGEON_MOBS!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ADD ANY TRICKS THAT THEY KNOW FOR CERTAIN ENCOUNTERS / ZONES, AND I WILL UPDATE THIS THREAD. THIS WAY PEOPLE WHO MAY BE NEW TO THIS GUILD AND NEW TO RAIDING CAN LOOK AT THIS BEFORE THEY COME IN THE ZONE AND COMPLETELY RUIN THE RAID! THIS WILL NOT COVER BASIC MECHANICS, IT WILL HOWEVER COVER THINGS YOU CAN DO TO AVOID CERTAIN MECHANICS OR TO HELP WITH CERTAIN MECHANICS! FOR INSTANCE, SCATTERSHOT INTERRUPTS WORSHIP!!!!! NEAT INFO LIKE THAT IS USEFUL!

  • 10 Man, Beacon the first tank he will take more damage overall. Use holy radiance when magmatron and arcaneatron are active, use LOD only if you can hit 5 people, if not save 3 hp for WoG. Judge whenever its up. Stand in mana pools if you can. Use holy radiance when magmatron focuses a target.

    1. Once we setup in an area (the ranged) lay down an ice trap & an explosive trap, so when we move you can use another set of those 2 traps after both of them proc on the adds spawning. You can also use snake traps if specced into entrapment.
    2. If spec'd into survival, get Serpent Spread (1 point) for 6 seconds of Serpent Sting applied to the adds, very useful in taking care of these adds.

  • 1. Beacon swap between the two tanks who are switching agro and mangles. All holy power should be saved and used with LoD, the fight is very AoE damage intensive on the ranged, you need to use holy radiance about 1-2 seconds before pillar is up so you get the speed boost to run to the next location and turn to light of dawn the raid as they're coming at you.

    2.Alternate between holy light and holy shock, use light of dawn only when healing anyone below 40%. You should provide enough healing through beacon to keep the tank alive along with other healers rolling hots and earth-shield.

    1. Use Ice Traps & Snake Traps (with entrapment) to help the tank who is on the adds to kite them around to help healers with their mana management.
    2. You can take off Remedy with a Tranquilizing Shot. Using a focus macro might be useful, or a mouseover macro.

  • Beacon the add tank, heal maloriak tank.
    Red Phase: All holy power saved for light of dawn, holy radiance should be used here.
    Blue Phase: All holy power saved for WoG to use on flash freeze victims along with holy shock.
    Green Phase:All holy power should be saved for Light Dawn, holy radiance can be used here.
    25% Burn Phase: Guardian of the Ancient Kings saved here.

    When the add tank has about 9 adds you need to switch to primarily healing him, do not remove your beacon- this phase does not last a long time. Alternate Light of Dawns on him and the Maloriak tank. Maloriak deals significantly less damage than the 9 aberration adds and the maloriak tank will most likely have earthshield and/or druid hots.

    1. Do not use deterrance to avoid the sound rings, because you will still accumulate sound.
    2. If you use Disengage (or Goblin Rocket Jump) to avoid the flame breath, remember the mechanic works that while you are still in the air, if the fire passes through where you were standing, you will get hit by the fire. However you can disengage through the fire and as long as you land before it hits where you were standing, you won't be hit.

  • Beacon the tank: heal raid with holy shock and holy light until searing flame, after searing flame use Light of Dawn to bring up as many low health targets as possible. Only use Holy Radiance after he's used his focus beam on someone, the speed boost will help you outrun the beam.
