Quote by Chops I wonder if it's also innately fire resistantQuote Thorium is used as an alloying element in magnesium, used in aircraft engines, imparting high strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures.[12]So I guess so? Unless there's something completely normal going on here of which I have no idea. Pretty kewl :3 --

Use the form for a lune instead of a haiku. It was designed for the english language.

Either way you're doing haiku wrong. You need a word related to seasons and then some.

I doubt it's fire resistant because it's pyrophoric.

Well, it's the fact that it's pyrophoric signifies that it's highly reactive, so I doubt that going from a powdered form to a solid form that it would be that much more stable. Aluminum and magnesium are examples of reactive metals and they both burn. Just out of curiosity, why were you wondering if it was fire resistant?
